Full scale production of WTDL kicked off with a full month of filming at Athena Studios, as the first movie production filmed out of the newly launched soundstage in collaboration with the University of Georgia’s Master of Fine Arts in Film, Television and Digital Media Program and the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. Beauty Muñoz and production company, When The Dogs Left, LLC have partnered with the UGA Office of the President and the Grady College of Journalism to create an entirely new film course around WTDL to implement an experiential learning model at UGA and provide  undergraduates hands-on experience on set as production assistants and crew, while earning course credit.  That inaugural class of 13 students has completed their 2023 UGA Maymester film course with flying colors as student crew for this groundbreaking documentary.
